IMAGINE a world class, state-of-the-art center for sustainability education, entertainment and communication located next to a world-class theme park – all completely committed to energy and environmental education and conservation.
This is the EarthQuest Institute, dedicated to developing and presenting state-of-the art exhibits, programs and information for children, adults, businesses and the public-at-large about energy, the environment, and sustainable living on our planet.
Programs
In addition to the stunning, state of the art physical facility, the EarthQuest Institute plans to launch a set of education and outreach programs in the local Houston region, some prior to the completion of the actual EarthQuest Adventures Theme Park and the EarthQuest Institute.
Why the EQ Institute?
By Don "Dino Don" Lessem - Like so many of us, I always wanted to know what I could do to live in more earth-sustaining ways. I wanted a place to go where I could see the latest energy, environmental and sustainability related technologies used, demonstrated, and explained. To my disappointment there was none.
